Versatilità

Painted Surface
You can spread True Earth's Filter & Wash directly on matt paints, without any clear protective coating. They are not aggressive at all.
- Matte surfaces are best for filters both with brush or airbrush.
- Demi-matt surfaces are best for sharp selective washes and pinwashes. In case, spread a thin layer of CRYSTAL LOCK thinned a lot in water over the paint.
- For die-cast or pre-colored plastics like railcars, spread the clear varnish Matt Lock as a primer.
Superficie Dipinta
Puoi stendere i Filter & Wash True Earth direttamente sulla pittura opaca, senza alcun trasparente protettivo, perchè non sono aggressivi !
- Una superficie opaca è ideale per stendere i filtri sia a pennello che ad aerografo.
- Una superficie semi-opaca è preferibile per Lavaggi Selettivi / PinWash. Nel caso, stendi sulla pittura un velo di Crystal Lock molto diluito.
- Per modelli die-cast, o in plastica predipinta com ad esempio i carri ferroviari, utilizza come primer il trasparente Matt Lock.
Dilution
- For brushed-on filters, any thinning at your taste, water only
- For washes - average thinning is 1 part of filter and 1-2 of water.
- For airbrush, at your taste, water only or water+ethanol. They are also compatible with many acrylic-paint thinners on the market. I also suggest you to add some Crystal Lock or Matt Lock to speed up drying time.
Diluizione
- Per utilizzo come filtro a pennello, diluizione a piacere, sola acqua
- Per il lavaggi, la diluizione normale è 1 parte di filtro con 1 o 2 di acqua
- Per l'aerografo, a tuo gusto sola acqua o acqua+ alcool etilico. Sono anche compatibili con diversi diluenti per pitture acriliche in commercio. Consigliato anche aggiungere Crystal Lock o Matt Lock per accelerare l'asciugatura.
Overall Filter
It 's called "overall filter" a thin film of filter, more or less uniform of the model, which adds depth to the colors, harmonizes them together, favors the scale-down effect and realism.
Thanks to their characteristics of purity, and the absence of normal pigments in the formulation, True Earth's FILTER & WASHes can be used as if they were real "photographic filters". Genty and progressively altering the underlying colors and color combinations at your taste, not overwhelming them, but enriching the chromaticity.

Filtro Globale
E’ detto “filtro globale” una sottile patina di filtro, più o meno uniforme su tuto il modello, che aggiunge profondità ai colori, li armonizza fra loro, favorisce l’effetto scala ed il realismo.
Date le loro caratteristiche di purezza, ed assenza di pigmenti classici nella formulazione, i FILTER & WASH True Earth si possono utilizzare come fossero veri e propri "filtri fotografici". In grado di alterare progressivamente a tuo gusto i colori sottostanti e le combinazioni di colore, senza soffocarli, ma arricchendone la cromaticità.
A pennello, stendi sul modello un velo sottile di filtro. Per l'aerografo vedi all’apposita voce.
Wash
A broad wash is suited over intricated areas, filled with details.
If you like, you can dampen the part to be treated with water, to facilitate the flow of the wash in the interstices, and then distemper the filter. Clean away excess from flat and undetailed parts. Let it dry in a dust free place.
The result is perfectly clean and sharp, and later you do not need to clean up stains with solvents, as you shuuld do with other products on the market !
Lavaggio
Un lavaggio totale è indicato per superfici intricate e ricche di dettagli.
Se vuoi, puoi bagnare la parte da trattare con acqua, per facilitare lo scorrimento del lavaggio negli interstizi, e poi stemperarvi il filtro. Ripulisci eventuali eccessi dalle zone lisce e lascia asciugare.
Il risultato è preciso è pulito, e non è necessario ripulire macchie ed eccessi con solventi come per altri prodotti in commercio !
Pin Wash / Selective Wash
Washes only made around raised details, riveting, into corners and recesses, to let them stand out, without affecting the whole surface.
It 'a particularly useful technique whenever for example we have used a given tone of FILTER & WASH as an overall filter, and we want to use a darker one only for the definition of details. Or whenever we want the maximum cleanliness, for example to emphasize the shape of a new machine, without wear.
Add a minimal amount of filter , only around the details, touch rivets, fill recessed panel lines and turn around raised panels.
The result will be a clean and sharp enhance of details.
Lavaggio selettivo / PinWash
Sono lavaggi realizzati solo attorno ai dettagli rialzati, rivettature, negli angoli e nei recessi, per evidenziarli.
E' una tecnica particolarmente utile quando ad esempio abbiamo utilizzato un dato tono di FILTER & WASH come filtro globale, e vogliamo utilizzarne uno più scuro solo per la definizione dei dettagli. Oppure quando vogliamo la massima pulizia, ad esempio per esaltare le forme di un mezzo nuovo.
Stendi pochissimo filtro con un pennello fine solo attorno ai dettagli, ai rivetti, intorno ai pannelli rialzati e dentro le pannellature incise.
Il risultato sarà una precisa e pulita definizione dei dettagli.
Filter + Wash
Whenever you want the same FILTER & WASH tone both for an overall filter than for pinwashes.
Spread a True Earth's FILTER & WASH at your taste, and leave it to dry.
If you wat to differentiate the effect, clean some panels with a moist brush.
Filtro + Lavaggio
Quando vuoi utilizzare la stessa tonalità di FILTER & WASH sia come filtro globale che come lavaggio sui dettagli- c.d. pinwash.
Stendi un tono di FILTER & WASH True Earth a scelta, e lascia asciugare.
Se vuoi differenziare l'effetto, ripulisci alcuni pannelli con un pennello umido.
